Researched, prototyped, and tested new power-tools for international retail. I implemented new cost-modelling and reverse engineering practices that improved inter-departmental trend forecasting and benchmarking techniques. I oversaw the clause-by-clause analysis of IEC standards and regularly contributed to project sprints and patent reviews with senior managers. Leveraged industrial CAD and FDM facilities to manufacture sub-assembly prototypes in-house. Used data-loggers and high-speed cameras to validate novel concepts.
